Terms of Use

Effective August 23, 2026. By using Teacher Renewal Desk, you agree to the terms below.

1. Informational purpose

Teacher Renewal Desk publishes general educational information about educator licensure, continuing education, professional development, credential maintenance, and related career planning. The site does not issue credentials and cannot make a binding determination for a state agency, professional standards board, school district, university, employer, union, or other authority.

2. Verify current requirements

Licensure rules, fees, forms, provider lists, required topics, portals, and deadlines can change. Review the current issuing-agency source and your own credential record before relying on a requirement, purchasing coursework, or making an employment decision.

3. No guarantee of acceptance or outcome

We do not guarantee that a particular course, credit, provider, transcript, professional-development activity, endorsement, or application will be accepted. Acceptance depends on the authority that controls the credential, salary schedule, reimbursement program, or local professional-development process.

4. No professional relationship

Using the site or contacting the publication does not create an attorney-client, advisor-client, employment, licensing, or other professional relationship. Questions about an individual credential should be directed to the issuing authority or authorized local body.

5. External resources

Links to government agencies and other third-party sites are provided for convenience and source verification. External pages can change, move, or become unavailable, and Teacher Renewal Desk is not responsible for third-party content or transactions.

6. Editorial and advertising separation

The site may display advertising or participate in monetization programs. Advertising does not give an advertiser authority to change state licensing rules or determine editorial conclusions. Sponsored material, if used, should be identified as such.

7. Acceptable use

You may use the site for personal research and ordinary reference. You may not attempt to disrupt the service, gain unauthorized access, abuse forms, inject malicious code, scrape the site in a manner that materially interferes with service, or misrepresent site content as an official government determination.

8. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the site’s original writing, organization, interface, graphics, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Government rules and linked public-source materials remain subject to their own legal status and terms.

9. Availability and changes

We may revise, reorganize, correct, remove, or discontinue pages as sources change or technical needs evolve. We do not promise uninterrupted availability of every page or feature.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Teacher Renewal Desk and its operators are not liable for losses arising from reliance on outdated third-party information, rejected coursework, missed deadlines, employment decisions, or other actions taken without verifying the controlling requirements for an individual credential.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact method listed on the Contact page.
